ABOUT ME

My name is Elton Billings, and I have been exploring the variety and depth of whiskey for a few decades. After much unstructured investigation, I decided to get more serious in my pursuit of knowledge on the topic.

 

I have spent the last several years studying the history, chemistry, and unique characteristics of the various styles of whiskey through books, distillery visits, experimentation, classes, and conversations with other experts. Along the way, I've sampled and analyzed a fair few delicious drams and learned some of the rich lore behind the bottles.

Whiskey is a complex beverage with a complicated and mysterious history, so my learning journey never stops.
